Public Service Announcement: LOTROCast feed is going to change

Hi all-

Bad news.  The Feedburner account that redistributed the LOTROCast episodes has become corrupted, disconnected or what ever.  As this account was originally setup by Moormur, I don't have anyway of resetting the account or fixing the problem. 

What does this mean?  It means that you can still download episodes directly from the LOTROCast website or from our podcast hosting site cyberears.com, but that feeds to iTunes are permanently interrupted.

As most of my listeners are on iTunes I have no choice but to create a new LOTROCast podcast feed and to get a new account on iTunes.

As soon as I know what the new feed is I will let you all know.

• If there is a small glow worm....break its induction and kill it quickly
• Don't automatically remove disease as sometimes the cure is worse
• Crowd control any of the captains (living or dead) as they pack a punch

Episode 40 - The Show That Never Was

Hey all-

As those that are on twitter know, my hard drive recently blew up so Episode 40 which was all nice and recorded is now gone.  In addition, I can't re-record the episode until my computer is fixed (I am posting this from my work PC....shish don't tell anyone).  Instead of re-recording this episode which will probably be a little out of date, I am posting the episode show notes and will probably move on to Episode 41 once my PC is back up.  I'll keep you posted on the progress. Until then I hope you enjoy the Show Notes from Episode 40, which is now title The Show That Never Was.

In general I think the changes are going to make the game better, but I am a little sad to see the Radiance system go.  I thought it was a novel concept.

Mount Update:  Steed of Night

The Heart of the Show:  10 Rules for Grouping
1)  If you are the leader forming the group....make sure you have time to actually run the instance/quest
2)  If you are joining the group....make sure you have the time to actually run the instance/quest
3)  If you are the leader...don't kick someone because you found someone you think is 'better'
4)  Establish loot rules up front...making these rules clear makes the looting easier and fair
5)  Don't 'need' on a class item for an Alt if someone with that class is in your group
6)  Establish the group goal...don't tell people you are running a full GS clear when you really want to do the hard mode
7)  Be honest about your experience with the instance...let more experienced players lead so less experienced players can learn
8)  Set Fellowship Assist for the tank and the off tank/melee DPS...it helps out every one
9)  Set Fellowship Manuever before questing or establish what to do when
10)  If for some reason you have to leave a run...please give some warning and don't just log
Bonus Rule:  Make sure everyone knows what role they are playing....Tank, Healer, DPS, Crowd Control, Buff/DeBuff, etc...
